Not in your Wildest Dreams

Scott Eastwood (Clint Eastwood’s son) stars alongside Taylor Swift in new music video.

The first time I heard that Taylor Swift had a new song, about four years ago, I was so excited.

She has continuously topped the billboards since, and it’s become a little repetitive. I heard about yet another new song a few days ago and decided to give it a try.

The pop star dyed her hair black or put on a black wig for this music video. Taylor is known for the “hunky” men in all of her videos, and Wildest Dreams did not disappoint.

Originally, I wondered where in the world this man could have come from, yet he looked vaguely familiar. Taylor Swift found Scott Eastwood, Clint Eastwood’s son, from the Longest Ride to suck face with in this video.

They are in a “movie” filming together as lovers. However, they are also in love in “real life”. They are fighting because she is afraid he will leave her.

Filming in what’s supposed to be Africa, the video has beautiful scenery and wonderful cinematography. After Scott and Taylor’s fake fight, a lion takes form directly behind Taylor.

This strong, majestic animal is symbolizing her power to stay strong through her difficulties and abusive relationships.

Typically, music videos are much better than the music itself, however both the video and the song are equally great.

Taylor hits the high notes gracefully and exemplifies the common fears all people face in relationships.

All she does is beg that he will remember and see her again. The lyrics illustrate the common fears of all teenage girls; that nobody will love them and they want love forever.

This song is for all girls and teenagers alike.
