RV Staff Report, Staff Writer

Seniors!  Be sure to attend 3rd Block tomorrow to receive important information from Jostens about graduation.  Seniors without a class during 3rd block should report to the auditorium to hear this important presentation.  Questions can be directed to Mr. Litzau in the Main Office.

CLASS SHIRTS:  We have a few Class Shirts that have not been picked up.  Come to the Main Office ASAP!!  If you are not sure if you have ordered a class shirt you should stop by.

Good luck to the RV Robotics Team this weekend!  They will be competing in the BEST Robotics Competition on Saturday, October 24 at the Auraria Events Center at Metro State University from 9:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Come support your fellow Mustangs at this FREE event.

The Athletic Office is now collecting athletic paperwork for winter sports.  Only fully completed paperwork will be accepted with your $150 athletic fee.  If we already have your athletic paperwork from a fall sport, we will only need the $150 athletic fee.  The deadline to turn in paperwork is Friday, November 6.  You can find the paperwork in the athletic office or on the athletic page at rvmustangs.org.

Redstone College of Aviation Technology in Denver will be in the cafeteria on Monday, October 26 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and a representative from Miami University, Oxford will be in the Counseling Office at 1:30 p.m.  Interested students should come down at these times.

Do you volunteer at the local, state or national level? The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards is now accepting applications through Tuesday, November 3.   This program shines a spotlight on young people making a difference through volunteer service.  Top honorees earn cash prizes, crystal trophies and an all-expense paid trip with a parent to Washington, D.C. for the program’s annual national recognition event.  See Mrs. Stockmar in the Counseling Office for more information.
