The Series is Not Set in Stone

As teenagers we hate waiting for anything to come out, luckily author C.L. Stone keeps coming out with books multiple times during the year.

Its rare for authors to publish more than one book a year, yet alone two. Yet, C.L. Stone publishes an average of four per year.

To a teenager, there is nothing worse than waiting for anything; especially waiting for something that entertains us. That is why finding an author who is persistent and puts out books at least four books in a year is a great catch.

The author that I am referring to goes by C.L Stone and is the author of both The Ghost Bird series and The Scarab Beetle series. Along with having two book series out, she also collaborates with other authors to produce samplers, books with the first chapter or two of many different authors included in one book.

The Ghost Bird series has nine books and two published short stories. C.L Stone has ten to twelve more books planned in the series, but the nice thing that Stone does, is that her first books in these series is free for download.

While there are many books in the Ghost Bird series, the page number ranges from 250-350 pages; and this may seem to be a large number to some, but the pages fly by with a face passed time line of events. Just as warning, there are some scenes that deal with abusive families and authority figures, and harsh punishments, in which the reader may feel uncomfortable with.

The Scarab Beetle series has only four books in it, and C.L Stone has yet to announce how many more books are yet to come.

The Scarab Beetle series deals with a whole new set of characters that have to deal with different problems. This series is harsher and shows the effects of events will affect ones life. And in certain parts of the books, there are crossovers with the Ghost Bird series, which is always interesting to see that even though there are different circumstances affecting each book, they are still connected. I would also put a warning on the books, because there are parts that a rough, and should not be read if the reader is easily offended.

C.L Stone produces amazing books that entice the reader and leaves them with wanting more. Along with publishing many books per year, she also sends out an e-mail monthly with updates about her progress, and has a website with forums in which fans can interact. Overall, C.L Stone is an author that loves what she loves, and one can truly tell that when they read her work.
