“This is the ninth year that I have taught in American schools. Before that I also taught in some schools in Europe.”

What are you looking forward to?

“The first think I’m looking forward to is having a full program, the last school only had levels one and two. It’s cool to have levels one through four, it gives me the opportunity to speak more German with students especially in the upper levels. I’m also looking forward to introducing the friendship connection which is an exchange program we are going to offer to students that are taking German. And I would say that probably the last but definitely not least I’m coaching the mountain biking team and that’s a pretty cool opportunity.”

“Oh that’s easy a pelican. I love pelicans man! I grew up in South Carolina and on the beach so I grew up always watching pelicans. They can fly, they can walk on the beach if they want, and they can swim. Whenever you see pelicans they’re usually not by themselves they usually have their buddies with them on the beach. And eating looks like a lot of fun! Just dive down into the water. That seems pretty coll. “
