Allison Burback
Hi, my name is Allison Burback and I’m a junior at Ralston Valley. This will be my second year on the Review Staff and I am extremely excited to be back in this program. Last year opened me up to the world of journalism, and I was able to further my passion for creative writing. For as long as I can remember I have been composing new stories. I can vividly remember churning out story after story in elementary school, never wanting to stop the motion of pencil against paper. When I’m not writing or in school, I spend the majority of my free time playing competitive soccer. I’ve participated in this sport since pre-school, and it has aided me in developing numerous skills that are important off the field as well as on. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family and exploring new places within Colorado. Another passion of mine is traveling outside of the state. I’ve visited four continents, adding places to my world map such as Turkey, Greece, Spain, and Chile. I’m so grateful that I have had the opportunity to travel and see new cultures, religions, and ways of life all across the globe. Hopefully, I will be able to bring some of my energy and spirit to The Review this upcoming school year.
