RV Staff Report, Staff Writer

Good luck to the RV Robotics Team this weekend!  They will be competing in the BEST Robotics Competition on Saturday, October 24 at the Auraria Events Center at Metro State University from 9:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Come support your fellow Mustangs at this FREE event.

CLASS SHIRTS:  We have a few Class Shirts that have not been picked up.  Come to the Main Office ASAP!!  If you are not sure if you have ordered a class shirt you should stop by.

The NEW North Parking Lot will officially open next Monday, October 26!!  Special passes will be sold over the next few weeks to allow students to park in the north lot only!  The cost for this pass has been prorated to $87.50.  Junior or Seniors who wish to purchase one of these passes should bring a check (made out to RVHS) and take it to Campus Security beginning Monday, October 26 through Friday, November 6.  Any remaining passes will be issued to sophomores through a lottery.  To sign up for the lottery simply fill out the “Parking Application” by going to rvmustangs.org., go to Quick Links and Find Parking Application.

Trick or Treat Street is next Wednesday, October 28th from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. We are in need of donations of candy to be given out to the little trick or treaters.  If you’d like to donate some candy for the evening, please contact Mr. Grau in English or Mrs. Spirk in Science.  The more the merrier.

French Club and French Honor Society Members:  The deadline to pay for your t-shirt is TODAY!  Bring $15 to Madame in the French classroom.  Also, plan on helping make decorations for Trick-or-Treat Street after school on Monday and Tuesday of next week.  You may see Madame for details.

Counseling Office College Visits:

Monday, October 26

  • Redstone College of Aviation Technology in Denver will be in the cafeteria at 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  •  Miami University, Oxford will be here at 1:30 p.m.

Tuesday, October 27  

  • Grand Canyon University will be here at 10:00 a.m.

Interested students should come down at these times.
