RV Staff Report, Staff Report

Attention seniors that are planning on playing collegiate athletics.  National Signing Day is around the corner.  Please see Ms. Beauchamp in the Athletics Office to let her know if you will be signing and with what college.  RV Athletics would like to recognize our athletes that plan on playing at the next level.  National Signing Day is Wednesday, February 3.

Interested in traveling to Ireland and England?  There is a parent information meeting tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. in the RV library.

Attention boys interested in play lacrosse:  There will be a boy’s lacrosse player/parent meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the library.

Hey Mustangs! Looking to join a club that accepts everyone?  Come check out the Gay/Straight Alliance- also known as the GSA.  The first meeting of the semester will be tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. in E2245.  Contact Ms. Harwick if you have any questions.

New NHS hours have been posted on the English bulletin board by student ID.  Please look at how many hours you have posted and how many hours you need to still complete.

The Make – A – Wish Color Fusion Dance is near and we would like to remind students that if you are bringing a date from another school, they will be required to fill out a permission slip.  They will not be admitted without it!  Permission slips are available in the Main Office and are due on Thursday, January 28.

Lakewood Sister Cities Australian Student Exchange Program is currently recruiting freshmen and sophomore students enrolled in Jefferson County Public Schools to participate in the 2016/2017 Student Exchange.  You have one last opportunity to get information about the program.  Tonight’s last interest meeting will be held from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Lakewood Cultural Center.  Go to Counseling for more information.

Reflections artists were honored at Red Rocks Community College.  The district received over 640 entries from 50 schools.  Out of our submission, six works from Ralston Valley Artists were chosen for additional awards.These artists received an Award of Excellence.  Their work will move to the Reflections state level for additional judging. Congratulations to Brandon Stehr, Ariana Beard, Carson McCabe and Calvin Maurer.  Emma Albertoni received an award of Merit.    The state entries will be judged in January.  We wish our artists the best and possible movement to the National Level!!
