September 22: Dave Sanders Invitational @ Clement Park, Littleton, Colorado

Performance/Performer of the Week: Competing at the Arvada West Invitational this past weekend, the varsity boys team captured fourth place. The team was paced by a solid group of seniors who are continuing to put in great times every race out. Gavin Jones (’18) was the pace setter for the Mustangs in this race, finishing 10th overall with a time of 17:05. Overall, the fourth place finish was a good showing for the Mustangs. Freshman James Ramey just missed out on breaking the 19-minute mark, breaking the tape in 19:01.  “I was very pleased with what I saw, especially after a very hard week of training,” said head coach Jordana LeSavage. The Dave Sanders Invitational will allow the Mustangs a good look at what will come at this year’s regionals, as the course for the Dave Sanders Invitational is exactly the same as the regional course.
