Performance/Performer of the Week: The Dave Sanders Invitational is one of the most prestigious cross country meets of the fall season. Honoring the former Columbine High School teacher and coach, this year’s invitational was a good one for the Mustangs. For starters, Nick Nowlen (’18) finished third overall with a time of 16:24.00. In addition, Gavin Jones (’18) also turned in a top-10 finish for RV. Across the roster, many Mustangs turned in personal records, including Kiesin Adams (’18). “From top to bottom, I see hard work and dedication to the ‘little things,’” said head coach Jordana LeSavage. “As a result, times continue to drop. We still have a lot of work to do.”
