Mr. Jeff Fleischman
As the adviser of the Ralston Valley Review, I have the honor and privilege to work with a wonderful staff of 16 Mustang journalists who work diligently to share ideas, news, and information in an entertaining and interesting style to the RV community. Meeting every Blue Day during period 3, our staff is dedicated to introducing new, diverse perspectives and opinions in a professional fashion to our readers. This is my eighth year at Ralston Valley, each year serving as the Review’s adviser. Overall, this is my 15th year in education, as I previously taught at Silver Creek High School (2001-2005) in Longmont, and Mountain Ridge High School (2005-2008) in Glendale, Arizona. Prior to my career in education, I worked professionally as a sports journalist for the Longmont Daily Times-Call. As a sports writer, I covered the Colorado Avalanche, the University of Colorado athletic department and local high school sports. Personally, I am an avid local sports fan. I also enjoy hiking, golfing and walking my dogs with my family. My wife, Kami, is a middle school counselor in Jefferson County and we have two sons, Reece (9) and Seth (6).
