RV Staff Report, Staff Report

Skip the long lines and buy your homecoming football game tickets in the Athletic/Attendance Office TODAY from 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.!  Cost is $4 for students without an athletic pass and $6 for adults.

The Athletic Office is now collecting athletic paperwork for winter sports.  Only fully completed paperwork will be accepted with your $150 athletic fee.  If we already have your athletic paperwork from a fall sport, we will only need the $150 athletic fee.  The deadline to turn in paperwork is Friday, November 6.  You can find the paperwork in the athletic office or on the athletic page at rvmustangs.org.

Homecoming News:

  • Today during both lunches Tap Snap will be here. Tap Snap is an interactive photo booth where you can take pictures with your friends celebrating this awesome homecoming week.
  • Tonight the theme for the football game is Camo!
  • This year, StuGo is taking the Parthenon Market to the NAAC!  Tonight, beginning at 6:00 p.m., before the homecoming football game come get face paint, foam fingers, rally towels, bandanas and more with your orange tickets.
  • The Homecoming Dance is Saturday night from 8:00 – 11:00 p m.  A valid Student ID is required for all students to enter.  The cafeteria will be open with games and a concession stand.  Cost for the dance at the door is $20.

Counseling Office College Visits:

  • Northern Arizona University here at 10:00 a.m.
  • United States Navy Recruiter in the cafeteria from 11:25 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Interested students should come down at these times.

RV High School Counselors are teaming up with the Boy Scouts of America’s Career Exploring Program.  Career Exploring is a career awareness program offered by local organizations to give young men and women, ages 14-20 years old, hands-on engaging experience in a variety of career fields of their choice.  The first Explorer Post will be with the Mile High Rescue Squad.  This is for students with an interest in the Medical Field.   Mile High Rescue Squad will host an open house on Monday, October 19 at 6:00 p.m. in Arvada.  On Tuesday, October 20 the Veterinary Explorers Program will host their Open House at 6:30 p.m. at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital.  For more information, go to the Counseling Office.
