Morning Announcements for Wednesday, November 11, 2015

RV Staff Report, Staff Report

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, an armistice was signed ending World War I – what was thought to be the “war to end all wars.”  The United States and many other nations around the world celebrated “Armistice Day” on November 11 each year until the outbreak of World War II.  Armistice Day officially became Veteran’s Day in the United States in 1954 when President Eisenhower signed it into law.  Please take a few moments to thank a veteran for the unselfish sacrifices they made to defend the rights and liberty we enjoy every day.

Do you want to participate in Outreach Club’s November adventure?  They will be sending “care packages” to our military troops November 11 – November 19.  For more information you can come to the Main Office and pick up a flyer.
