Looking Back: A few of the Ralston Valley boys have been ranked highly in the 2017 state tournament for 5A Boy’s Varsity Tennis.
Senior Charlie Eck has placed second in the 1 doubles with a total of 13 wins and 5 losses.
Jackson Johnstone, also a Senior, placed second for 2 doubles with a total of 15 wins and 2 losses.
Junior Carson Green placed second for 3 singles with a total of 11 wins and 7 losses.
Aiden Muldener, a freshman, placed second for 4 doubles with a total of 12 wins and 5 losses.
Looking Ahead: The draws for the 5A division state championship will be from October 12-14 at the Gates Tennis Center in downtown Denver.
Jackson Johnstone competed against Ben Murray from Cherry Creek High School to make it to the Quarterfinals, and unfortunately lost.
Aidan Muldener and Connor McKenzie will be competing against Dylan Broderick and Graham Gates from Heritage High School for a spot No.4 Doubles Quarterfinals.
Charlie Eck and Turner Gordon will be competing against Will Dennen and Patrick Seby from Regis Jesuit for a spot in the No. 1 Doubles Quarterfinals.
Carson Green will be competing against Mason Lewis from Broomfield High School for a spot in the No.3 Singles Quarterfinals
