Wrestling has had a great start to the season so far, placing second (out of 15 teams) at the Chuck Annand invitational. The Mustangs finished behind perennial state power Eaton in Akron.

Here are some of the scores from this past week of Varsity:

•     Collen Bauernschmidt (’18) took 1st place at 120 pounds.
•     Tyler Bell (’20) took 4th place at 132 pounds.
•     Nate Horsley (’19) took 3rd place at 138 pounds.
•     Kiesin Adams (’18) took 4th place at 152 pounds.
•     Stefano Dardano (’18) took 4th place at 182 pounds.
•     Cole Jesch (’19) took 1st place at 220 pounds.
•     Sean Adams (’19) took 2nd place at 285 pounds.

This week, the varsity will wrestle at  the Roosevelt Invitational at 8:00 A.M. on Saturday. Junior Varsity will wrestle at Jefferson also at 8:00 A.M. on Saturday.
