Mustangs claim team title at Commander Invitational

Wrestling at the John F. Kennedy Commander Invitational last Saturday, January 20, Cole Jesch (’19) took first place at 220 pounds. Jesch, along with Colton Frost-Bryant (’19), and Stefano Dardano (’18), were the three Mustangs to finish atop the podium. RV finished first out of 19 teams.

Wrestling had a great tournament at John F. Kennedy Invitational on Saturday. The Mustangs finished in first place in front of Overland (out of 19 total teams).

Here are some of the scores from this past week of Varsity:

  • Colton Frost-Bryant (’19) took 1st place at 145 pounds.
  • Cole Jesch (’19) took 1st place at 220 pounds.
  • Stefano Dardano (’18) took 1st place at 170 pounds.
  • Deanglo Darando (’20) took 2nd  place at 120 pounds..
  • Zach Lyon  (’19) took 2rd  place at 195 pounds.
  • Kadin Adams (’20) took 3rd place at 160 pounds.
  • Matt Thompson (’20) took 4th  place at 115 pounds.
  • Nate Horsley (’19) took 4th place at 138 pounds.
  • Kiesen Adams (’18) took 4th place at 152 pounds.

This week, the varsity will wrestle at the Ralston Valley against Columbine, on January 25, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday.
